Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status, strengths, and unique needs, leading to customized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, to support patients in overcoming challenges associated with addiction and mental health disorders.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients. This includes regular communication and coordination with psychiatrists and nursing staff.

• Assist patients and their families in understanding diagnoses, various treatment options, and prescribed medications to navigate the treatment process effectively.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient and group dynamics.

• Develop and regularly update treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, integrating feedback from patients to reflect their personal goals and preferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and concurrent mental health issues in a detox facility. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), allowing you to practice in Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
