Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule Mon – 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Tue – 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Wed – 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM Thu – 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, access points, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor site activity and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel in accordance with post instructions. Support access control practices by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorized presence when required, and providing directions and assistance to the public. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
