Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, risks, and personal goals, thereby developing tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring a personal approach that considers each client's unique circumstances.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists, to provide holistic support that addresses all aspects of the client's well-being.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, remaining current with industry advancements and integrating new methodologies into your practice.

• Regularly contribute to program development initiatives, providing insight and feedback that enriches our therapeutic offerings.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in distress, implementing safety plans and resources to navigate acute situations.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards, leveraging electronic medical records (EMR) systems for accuracy and accessibility.

• Stay informed on the latest research and trends in mental health counseling to ensure the delivery of evidence-based therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your therapy sessions will primarily focus on individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. The clients you work with come from diverse backgrounds, and your understanding and commitment to cultural competence will be critical to their healing processes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years working experience in mental health counseling, preferably with individuals facing emotional challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time counseling position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, reflecting your skills and commitment to mental health care. Additionally, counselors will benefit from a monthly healthcare stipend that aids in personal well-being.
