Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, ensuring proper documentation from intake to discharge.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health in a sensitive and empathetic manner.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans for clients across various demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage client participation and adherence to therapeutic goals.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to plans based on real-time feedback.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, doctors, nurses, and social workers to create comprehensive intervention strategies tailored to client needs.

• Provide follow-up communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients who require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify potential behavioral barriers to recovery and implement preventive measures through proactive interventions.

• Support and guide family members and caregivers in managing mental health challenges while promoting a cooperative family dynamic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on serving a varied clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and interpersonal relationship challenges. You will apply evidence-based therapeutic practices to help clients navigate their struggles and work toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of physical and emotional health conditions, along with addiction disorders.
\n
• Awareness of best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented by exceptional interpersonal abilities.

• A compassionate and sympathetic nature conducive to establishing trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting, particularly within an outpatient environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, with a potential sign-on bonus.
