Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations using the DSM and provide targeted short-term psychotherapy, utilizing evidence-based modalities.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, ensuring appropriate levels of care and urgency are determined based on clinical assessments.

• Offer various therapeutic interventions including crisis management, couples and family counseling, stress management, and addiction therapy to diverse populations.

• Engage in collaborative treatment discussions with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring cohesive patient care and effective resource allocation.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions and relevant communications with clients, families, and other stakeholders.

• Stay current on clinical best practices, regulatory guidelines, and organizational policies to maintain high standards of care.

• Participate actively in clinical team meetings to review case progress and engage in quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals and families grappling with mental health disorders, dual diagnoses, and various life challenges. Our clients range from adults facing relationship issues and personal crises to children and adolescents navigating developmental challenges. Your role as an LMFT will be pivotal in providing tailored psychotherapy services aimed at fostering resilience and improving mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license to practice in New York State.

• A Master's degree or higher in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n

While we require a minimum of two years of clinical experience, candidates with additional specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance abuse treatment will be viewed favorably.
