Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological, emotional, and behavioral health considering any co-existing medical conditions.

• Develop and implement individual and group therapy interventions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Collaborate closely with medical providers to create integrated treatment plans that address both mental and physical health issues.

• Provide crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients on the interconnections between mental health and physical conditions, fostering a holistic approach to managing their health.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

• Engage actively in professional development through participation in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with a variety of mental health issues exacerbated by chronic physical conditions. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a comparable field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist within the state of Washington.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with a wide range of clients.
\n
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while demonstrating empathy and respect for all patients.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms effectively to manage patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working with patients dealing with co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Experience in crisis intervention and emergency response within a telehealth context.
