Assess patients of all ages using standardized evaluations and observation techniques.

Create customized treatment plans addressing immediate and long-term communication or swallowing objectives.

Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions focused on aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to implement cohesive care strategies.

Provide education to patients and their families to enhance progress outside of treatment sessions.

Conduct inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring seamless care throughout the patient journey.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Stay updated on advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for all age groups, with a strong grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Ability to adjust therapy techniques to address diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.

Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
