Work Environment

This role is predominantly onsite, involving home visits where you will work directly with patients in their own environments, which enhances their comfort and promotes a more effective rehabilitation experience. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Vitality Booster Physical Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, which includes reviewing their medical history, performing detailed assessments, and documenting your findings to inform treatment plans.
• Explain evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting processes.
• Implement and adapt treatment protocols based on each patient's unique needs, presenting symptoms, and the latest advancements in health care.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Identify and document any changes in the patient's condition requiring updates to their care plan or additional referrals.
• Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring that patients receive the necessary follow-up care.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of patient interactions, encompassing initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Meet productivity expectations while demonstrating effective time management skills.
• Engage in community-based marketing activities and maintain a professional presence during departmental meetings.
• Contribute to department goals and comply with all relevant governmental regulations.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance your own professional growth and the growth of the organization.
• Serve as a clinical instructor for students, fostering a new generation of physical therapists.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
