Work Environment

The successful candidate will work at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Tampa, Florida. You will work Monday to Friday, with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, making it easy to maintain a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will be diverse and engaging, including:

• Evaluating patients through comprehensive assessments to determine suitable treatment plans initiated by referring physicians.

• Implementing evidence-based treatment plans across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.

• Providing therapeutic interventions either onsite or in-home, utilizing innovative techniques to facilitate functional improvements in patients' conditions.

• Establishing strong professional relationships with patients to foster trust and encourage compliance with treatment strategies.

• Consulting, educating, and training patients and their caregivers on rehabilitation protocols and exercises to support recovery outside clinical settings.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to continually assess and improve patient outcomes, ensuring the highest standards of care are achieved.

• Contributing to the clinic's operational objectives by meeting utilization goals and engaging in quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse array of patients, from children to the elderly, navigating conditions ranging from sports injuries to chronic pain syndromes. Our goal is to meet each patient's unique rehabilitation needs and help them reclaim their quality of life through personalized care and dedicated support.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preference for a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.

• At least two (2) years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.

• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatments.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interactions and documentation.

• Proficient in basic computer skills and electronically documenting patient care.

• A commitment to building lasting relationships with patients, ensuring they exceed their functional goals through therapy.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional experience in specific therapeutic modalities, particularly in sports medicine or pediatric care, would be a valuable asset to our team. Familiarity with physical therapy assessment tools and patient management software is also preferred.
