Work Environment\n

As a fully remote team member, you will have the flexibility to provide care via a telehealth platform, allowing you to meet with clients in the comfort of your own workspace. Our virtual practice facilitates robust communication and collaboration amongst team members while ensuring continuity of care for our patients. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis, providing flexibility in managing your work schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and nuances of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s unique challenges.

• Engage clients in collaborative discussions to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, preferences, and lifestyle considerations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver impactful therapeutic interventions aimed at managing and alleviating mood disorders.

• Offer education and support to clients and their families concerning mood disorders, various treatment options, and effective self-care strategies that foster long-term mental health resilience.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting plans as needed to accommodate changes in their mental health status.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to each client’s treatment.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practice guidelines related to mood disorders to continuously improve treatment recommendations.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal compliance requirements.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities, team meetings, and case consultations to enhance clinical skills and foster a supportive learning environment.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting the de-stigmatization of mental health challenges and reinforcing their right to receive quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on working with individuals facing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds, each presenting a unique set of experiences that require personalized therapeutic approaches. Your expertise will contribute to improving the mental health outcomes of this vulnerable population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the treatment landscape for mood disorders, enabling effective interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating an ability to build rapport with clients from varied social and cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
