Work Environment\n

This position allows for the flexibility of a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth technologies to conduct therapy sessions. You will enjoy a supportive online community with regular communication and collaboration with colleagues and supervisors. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that cater to their individual goals, preferences, and treatment needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored specifically for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment pathways, and effective self-care strategies for better management.

• Continuously monitor client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in cooperative care with psychiatrists and the broader medical team to ensure coordinated treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in counseling, with a strong focus on mood disorders.

• Proficiency in evidence-based methodologies including CBT and DBT for mood disorder treatments.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists regarding client medication management.

• Exemplary communication skills that facilitate a trusting relationship with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will possess a rich background in using evidence-based practices in the treatment of mood disorders. A track record of successful therapeutic outcomes will significantly strengthen your application. Previous experience in a remote work environment is advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
