Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, determining severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop customized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, making necessary adaptations to treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, including session notes and treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients who experience mood disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. As a therapist, you will be tasked with addressing the unique needs of each client, building therapeutic alliances, and fostering growth through personalized treatment approaches. You will work collaboratively with families to engage them in the therapeutic process, ensuring a supportive environment for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, supplemented with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
