Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own space while maintaining a work-life balance. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which facilitates a regular schedule for our team and ensures that you can devote time to your personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring an accurate understanding of their mental health status.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, focusing on their unique needs and goals, while integrating their preferences into the therapeutic process.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address mood disorders, fostering meaningful progress and recovery.

• Offer continuous education and support to clients and their families regarding the nature of mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress diligently throughout the treatment course, adjusting therapeutic interventions and treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated mental health care.
\n
• Stay informed about recent research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to guarantee high-quality service and informed decision-making.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all interactions, assessments, and modifications to treatment in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay aligned with best practices.

• Actively advocate for clients’ mental health needs, contributing to efforts to de-stigmatize mental health conditions and promoting understanding within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our diverse clientele spans different backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, enriching the therapeutic process and fostering a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and current licensure in New York State as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is a must.
\n
• Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to work effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
\n
• A proven track record of successfully delivering therapy and achieving positive client outcomes.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or outpatient setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology is a plus, given the remote nature of this position.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
