Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and empathetic assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, using standardized tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, treatment goals, and personal preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while adjusting techniques based on clients' progress.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor and track clients' progress, documenting sessions, assessments, and any modifications to treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients, facilitating coordinated treatment plans.

• Remain informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of mood disorders, participating in professional development activities to enhance clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety, who are seeking support in their mental health journey. Our clients come from a variety of backgrounds and may present with complex, co-occurring conditions. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience working in a clinical setting, demonstrating expertise in treating mood disorders. Experience with teletherapy settings is preferred, considering the remote work nature of this role. Familiarity with community-based resources and referral systems is also highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
