Work Environment\n

As a remote position within a community health clinic setting, this role allows for flexibility while providing essential mental health services. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends required on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to gauge the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, needs, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote client resilience and recovery.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to maximize therapeutic outcomes.

• Coordinate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Stay informed about advancements in mood disorder treatments, integrating new research findings into practice.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Support advocacy efforts to promote de-stigmatization of mood disorders and ensure clients' mental health needs are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele presents unique backgrounds and challenges, requiring a tailored approach that respects individual histories and cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist.

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders is preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapy techniques, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 per year, complemented by additional financial bonuses.
