Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, culturally sensitive treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective interventions for mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and essential self-care strategies to enhance recovery.

• Monitor client progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

This role primarily focuses on clients suffering from mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Two years of post-licensure experience, with a preference for specialization in mood disorders.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies, including CBT and DBT.

• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology and effective communication skills for collaboration with medical professionals.

• A proven track record of achieving positive treatment outcomes in mood disorders.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is required, candidates with additional certifications in therapy techniques specific to mood disorders or advanced training in trauma-informed care may receive greater consideration. Experience in a remote setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a sign-on bonus to qualified candidates.
