Work Environment\n

This role is designed for professionals who thrive in a collaborative setting while also being able to work independently. You will interact with a diverse client population in a remote capacity, frequently communicating with colleagues and clients through telehealth platforms. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis to accommodate client schedules. We promote work-life balance and flexibility in our scheduling.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms, including but not limited to depression and bipolar disorder.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that focus on their individual goals and preferences, regularly updating these plans based on client progress and feedback.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver impactful interventions and support clients in managing their symptoms effectively.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Track and document client progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in record-keeping.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and strategies that enhance our collective understanding of mood disorder treatments.

• Advocate for clients to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health issues and ensure they receive necessary support and resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. This role demands strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with individuals from various backgrounds, providing culturally sensitive care that respects each person's unique context and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• Exceptional communication abilities, with a track record of building strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings, particularly focused on mood disorders.

• In-depth knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, especially CBT and DBT.

• A demonstrated history of producing successful treatment outcomes with diverse clients.
