Work Environment\n

The Mental Health Therapist will work remotely within a community health clinic framework, balancing flexibility with the supportive structure that ensures consistency and accountability in client care. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and there may be occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotating basis to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

Your role will involve a variety of tasks designed to deliver effective mental health treatment:

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to address their specific needs and life goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and recovery.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment directions, and self-care strategies to enhance overall mental health.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress continuously, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in frequent collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of all client interactions, assessments, treatment progress, and treatment plans, complying with all ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to exchange insights, discuss treatment strategies, and refine best practices.

• Act as a strong advocate for clients, promoting mental health awareness and the destigmatization of mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will include individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Qualifications\n

We require candidates to possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to work collaboratively with prescribing psychiatrists.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers an annual salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, plus a sign-on bonus.
