Work Environment\n

This role is predominantly remote, allowing therapists to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes or preferred environments. Although the primary work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, occasional evening or weekend hours may be required as part of our commitment to patient care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct exhaustive assessments that delve into the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms for each client.

• Collaborate directly with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, aspirations, and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Offer educational resources and ongoing support to clients and their families, guiding them through the complexities of mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plans based on observed developments and feedback.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating therapy with pharmacological treatments when needed.

• Stay informed on the latest research trends and evidence-based practices within the field, continuously refining treatment methods to enhance patient outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to refine clinical skills and share insights on best practices.

• Advocate for clients by supporting the de-stigmatization of mental health issues and actively promoting their emotional and mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily serves individuals facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a concentration in mood disorders is preferred.

• Proven proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies specifically related to mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and medical professionals.

• Demonstrated success in delivering positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of establishing rapport and trust with clients from varying backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities or a background in integrated care settings are highly valued. Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a generous sign-on bonus.
