Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in performing comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' orthopedic conditions and physical capabilities.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functional status.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to effectively manage pain and enhance recovery from musculoskeletal injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that patient care is cohesive and holistic, while actively participating in case discussions and treatment planning.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises, home modifications, and injury prevention strategies to promote ongoing recovery.
• Maintain thorough documentation of treatment sessions, patient progress, and outcomes in compliance with both regulatory standards and company policies.
• Engage in continuing education efforts, seeking advanced certifications and training to bolster expertise in orthopedic physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. This range will encompass diverse age groups from adolescents to seniors, providing you with a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Current California PTA license and completion of an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of treatment modalities and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging between USD 50,000 and 70,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
