Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a work-life balance. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with some evening hours required on a rotating basis to accommodate client appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that evaluate the mental health and substance use concerns of clients, specifically identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans targeting both mental health and substance use needs, integrating evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
\n
• Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing creative techniques to help clients build coping skills, establish relapse prevention strategies, and enhance emotional regulation.
\n
• Engage proactively with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide holistic and integrated treatment approaches that meet the needs of our clients.

• Monitor clients’ progress with regular substance use assessments and use motivational interviewing techniques to support them in their recovery journey.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, promoting adherence to treatment for optimal outcomes.
\n
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client progress and therapeutic interventions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
\n
• Participate in team activities, including case conferences and staff meetings, to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and enhance skills related to co-occurring disorder treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies specifically for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) methods.

• Strong understanding of the complex interplay between mental health and substance use disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary team framework.
