About the Job Full‑time board‑certified or eligible Urologist to join the Department of Urology at the University of Minnesota. The appointment can be at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, or as a Physician without a university appointment. Position Highlights Strong team‑centered department environment with more than 20 urology faculty providing high‑quality, innovative patient care across the Twin Cities. Practice located at M Health facilities in the East Metro; the position may include up to one day per week at a second site. Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants) support patient care in clinic and hospital. Fully coordinated Electronic Medical Record (Epic). Access to a strong primary and specialty care referral base within the M Health Fairview system. University of Minnesota ranked #16 in NIH funding; faculty with an academic focus have protected time for clinical trials and publishing in peer‑reviewed journals. Key Responsibilities Support and advance the clinical and academic mission of the Department of Urology and the University of Minnesota Medical School. Instruct, conduct clinical research, and provide patient care with an emphasis on general urology. Practice primarily at a suburban hospital, with one day of outreach possible. Collaborate within and across local health care systems, including M Health Fairview and Minneapolis‑VA. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited ACGME Urology residency and/or fellowship‑training program. Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Urology. Licensed or able to acquire a medical license and DEA registration in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria for credentialing and privileges. Eligible to receive work authorization in the United States from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the relevant visa category while in the United States.
