This position operates remotely, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with patients throughout Morristown, New Jersey, and surrounding areas. Our telehealth platform enables real-time interactions while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and patient care. The flexible work schedule includes core hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as patient needs arise. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional needs of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Provide individual counseling using methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to address underlying issues and motivate patients toward recovery.

• Lead group therapy sessions that foster peer support and create a safe space for sharing experiences related to addiction recovery.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services during emergency situations involving substance use, maintaining a calm demeanor to guide patients and their families through high-stress moments.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery options, coping strategies, and community resources to empower them on their recovery journeys.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in team meetings, peer supervision sessions, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as either an LCSW-C, LCPC, LP, LMFT, or LCMFT in New Jersey.

• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and recovery-oriented care approaches.

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach toward clients.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital applications.

Preferred Experience\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, along with performance-based bonuses.
