Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' unique backgrounds and mental health needs.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions to address clients’ specific situations and challenges.

• Document all clinical interactions and maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, showcasing a high standard of professionalism in all aspects of your practice.

• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care, collaborating on treatment plans and engaging in periodic case consultations.

• Facilitate regular peer reviews and case discussions to promote continual professional development and adherence to best practices in mental health counseling.

• Provide education to clients and their families concerning mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies, empowering them to manage their mental health proactively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Health Growth Psychiatric Center, you will engage with a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to adults, each dealing with various psychiatric conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their mental health journeys by addressing cultural sensitivities and utilizing an individualized approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active professional license (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Psychoanalyst) in New York, demonstrating your qualifications and dedication to mental health practice.

• Proven skills in utilizing evidence-based techniques and therapies tailored to individual needs, ensuring effective client engagement.
