Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, engaging clients in detailed discussions about their emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being.

• Document and track each client's progress meticulously from the initial consultation through to the completion of treatment, ensuring all case notes are accurate and up-to-date.

• Develop personalized and effective treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients, including intervention strategies for individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices that help clients realize their full potential.

• Continuously monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their support systems as needed.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a network of mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care and referrals.

• Follow up with psychiatric providers for clients needing hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and safety for all clients.

• Assist family members and caregivers in understanding and supporting their loved ones who are experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relational issues. Your role will involve fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients, ensuring each person feels heard and supported throughout their healing journey. We believe in a client-centered approach that emphasizes the importance of individualized care strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage patient records effectively.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and the impact of addiction disorders on recovery trajectories.
\n
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting or practice.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Understanding of the pharmacological treatments available through medical specialists and their implications for mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, reflective of your experience and qualifications. Additionally, new team members will enjoy a sign-on bonus.
