The role will be conducted in a remote setting, with a focus on outpatient services. You will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring access to mental health care regardless of geographical barriers. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations, documenting client histories and developing tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to meet client needs.
\n
• Monitor client progress consistently and adjust intervention strategies in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
\n
• Work closely with other mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to care.

• Utilize electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, for accurate record-keeping and documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
\n
• Provide education and support to family members and caregivers, empowering them to assist clients in managing mental health challenges effectively.
\n
• Identify risk factors or behaviors that may interfere with recovery and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population ranges from children to adults, facing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your work will directly enhance their lives and contribute to positive outcomes in their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current, valid licensure as one of the following: LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to effectively convey therapeutic concepts to clients and their families.
\n
• Empathy and exceptional interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating proficiency in a variety of therapeutic methods and interventions.

• Familiarity with the guidelines set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and best practices in the field.

• Experience interfacing with electronic health record systems and understanding the impact of prescribed medications on clients' therapeutic journeys.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
