Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, ensuring comprehensive case documentation from the first consultation to discharge.

• Develop tailored treatment and recovery plans for diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on specific challenges and strengths.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, maintaining an engaging and therapeutic atmosphere.
\n
• Continuously monitor and assess client progress against treatment goals, making necessary adjustments based on individual needs.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create a holistic approach to care for each client.

• Follow up with healthcare professionals for clients who may have been admitted to hospitals, ensuring continuity of care during transitions.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement preventative measures to enhance client outcomes.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, helping them navigate the challenges associated with mental health disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This includes those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Nevada.

• Proof of successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that foster effective client interactions and teamwork.

• Demonstrable track record as a mental health counselor, with hands-on experience in various treatment modalities.
