Job Responsibilities

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft tailored therapy approaches to help them meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' mobility, cognitive function, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with Comprehensive Care Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses for holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and caregivers on therapy methods to facilitate ongoing progress at home
• Track and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track for success

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications

Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
