Work Environment

The position is primarily onsite at our well-equipped outpatient facility in Paterson, NJ. Here, you will have access to state-of-the-art therapy equipment and resources designed to support effective patient care. Working from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, our Physical Therapists have the flexibility to manage their schedules while focusing on delivering the highest level of care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at meeting their specific needs and health goals.
• Deliver skilled and compassionate therapy treatments including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and various modalities, ensuring a patient-centric approach throughout the process.
• Regularly monitor and document progress through electronic medical records (EMRs) while making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care strategies.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention, thereby empowering them to take an active role in their health.
• Implement fall prevention strategies and safety measures tailored to the unique challenges faced by the elderly in assisted living communities.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practice and participate in ongoing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and contributing to our commitment to excellence in patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, reflecting your experience and level of expertise.
