Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate client needs and establishing effective treatment plans.

• Providing individual psychotherapy to clients using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

• Documenting all therapy sessions accurately and comprehensively to maintain proper records and ensure continuity of care.

• Regularly updating treatment plans based on clients' progress and feedback, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development to remain up-to-date with the latest mental health practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor with Empathy Edge, you will work primarily with a varied population of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. You will be an integral part of their healing process, supporting them as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree from a regionally accredited university in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.

• An active and unrestricted license in the state of New York, including LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW credentials.
\n
• At least two years of supervised experience providing clinical psychotherapy.
\n
• Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, alongside excellent documentation abilities.

• A clean disciplinary record with no actions taken against your licensing credentials in any jurisdiction.

• Demonstrated experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments.

Compensation and Benefits\n
