Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct engaging group therapy sessions where clients connect, share experiences, and support one another in a safe space.

• Individual Therapy: Provide tailored therapy sessions that explore clients’ thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, guiding them in developing effective coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that cater to their unique challenges and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Use assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to track client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, participating in regular consultations and care coordination for complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with young adults aged 18 to 30 participating in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often struggles with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will be pivotal in fostering their recovery and support.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Texas or the ability to obtain one.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• Proven experience in mental health counseling or a related area.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.

Red Oak Mental Healthcare offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
