The H.O.P.E Healthcare Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our thriving team in Waterbury, Connecticut. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, paving the way for personalized care. \n
- Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans based on their distinct goals, preferences, and clinical needs. \n
- Employ evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address client challenges. \n
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices. \n
- Regularly monitor client progress, ensuring that treatment plans are dynamic and adjusted as necessary to align with their evolving needs. \n
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care. \n
- Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic strategies. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in case consultations, team debriefs, and seek out professional development opportunities. \n
- Advocate for clients by actively working to reduce the stigma around mental health issues and promoting accessible treatment options. \n
This position primarily involves working with individuals and families experiencing mood disorders and various emotional challenges. Our diverse patient population encompasses children, adolescents, adults, and families, providing therapists the opportunity to work across different age groups and contexts, whether in individual therapy sessions or family dynamics.

- A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory. \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required for this role. \n
