Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, assessing the symptoms' intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment.

• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs and feedback.

• Work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

• Stay updated with recent research and developments in mood disorder treatment to inform clinical practices.

• Maintain confidential records in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring accurate documentation of all client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting individuals and families grappling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and Bipolar Disorder. You will work closely with diverse clientele, offering compassion and expert guidance as they navigate their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Connecticut.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• Proven ability to establish a trusting therapeutic rapport with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated empathy and an understanding, nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ life experiences and mental health struggles.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance caseload effectively and fulfill administrative duties in a remote work setting.
