Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. Utilizing a telehealth platform, you will connect with clients from the comfort and convenience of their own homes. Consequently, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing mental health support to those who may face barriers to traditional in-person services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Lead the development of comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations that include detailed assessments of clients' psychological profiles, criminal history, and substance abuse backgrounds.
\n
• Implement psychotherapy sessions that may take place in challenging physical or emotional environments while employing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
\n
• Collaboratively work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, frequently communicating treatment recommendations and progress updates.
\n
• Document client interactions accurately in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, while minimizing administrative burdens.

• Provide on-call crisis intervention and emergency consultations during work hours, critically evaluating suicide risks with clinical precision.
\n
• Offer ongoing therapeutic support and guidance, with a focus on educating clients about their mental health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be mothers and other individuals grappling with unique challenges associated with mental health. This demographic often faces distinct societal pressures and systemic barriers to care, making your expertise vital in navigating their mental health journeys. The diverse backgrounds of our clients require a culturally competent approach that aligns with our commitment to inclusivity and respect for all individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited program.

• Possession of an independent license in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients and consulting agencies.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records management and general computer applications.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to veterans' homes or other client sites for in-person visits as necessary.

• Experience in Mental Health Assessments and Community Outreach, particularly within culturally diverse populations.

• A solid understanding of co-occurring mental health and substance dependency disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
