You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally when concerns arise. DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, patients, visitors, and vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance from appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, offices, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry into restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through accurate reports and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal and designated site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
