Work Environment\n

This role will be conducted in a remote setting, enabling flexibility while ensuring you are fully connected with the school community. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to implement strategies that promote mental health in schools. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while effectively serving the needs of students and families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a liaison between students, families, and outpatient providers to ensure seamless communication and support.

• Engage with insurance companies to manage pre-certification and oversee utilization management to ensure suitable care is provided.
\n
• Contribute to discharge and aftercare planning for students transitioning out of intensive services, ensuring follow-up and continuity of care.
\n
• Provide therapeutic meal support, helping clients develop a positive and healthy relationship with food.
\n
• Deliver empathetic, affirming care while maintaining an understanding of each client’s unique intersecting identities and experiences.
\n
• Document case interactions and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with clinical guidelines and compliance protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with students from diverse backgrounds, addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and social-emotional challenges. Your ability to engage with children and adolescents will be crucial in creating a safe space where they feel comfortable to express their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Arizona is required.

• Demonstrated experience working with older adults, preferably within a clinical or educational setting.
