Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mind Crafts Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ongoing assessments to identify and address the mental health needs of patients.

• Facilitating open communication with supervisors, care teams, and clients' support systems, including families and guardians, about progress and treatment plans.

• Developing and providing a schedule of therapy appointments, home visits, and observations to enhance client engagement.
\n
• Coordinating and executing follow-up home visits and assessments, which may include chart reviews, staff interviews, and analytical data collection.
\n
• Implementing client-specific program plans with diligence, ensuring compliance with mental health standards and regulations.
\n
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment strategies, and collaborative care initiatives.
\n
• Completing thorough monthly and quarterly progress notes to track client advancements and ongoing needs.
\n
• Conducting training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills in implementing program plans and documentation requirements.

• Serving as a liaison between our center and the broader mental health community to facilitate knowledge sharing and goal development.

• Innovating training materials and procedures to support continuous improvement of client interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will provide services to a diverse client population, including adults and youth, facing various mental health challenges. You will use your expertise to create individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering resilience, improving coping strategies, and enhancing overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling capacity, preferably within a clinical environment.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.

• Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with various clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies will also be an asset in your daily responsibilities.
