Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and substance use issues, accurately identifying the presence of co-occurring disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs, employing evidence-based therapies such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with essential coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and relapse prevention methods.

• Work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to provide a cohesive and integrated treatment approach.

• Monitor substance use regularly and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement and commitment to recovery.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about the complex relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the critical nature of treatment adherence.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and clinical outcomes, in alignment with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and skills enhancement training to stay informed about best practices in co-occurring disorder treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
