Key Responsibilities\n

As an Integrated Mental Health Therapist, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Conducting culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify their unique needs and formulate appropriate action plans.

• Providing individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific challenges and goals of each patient.
\n
• Completing necessary documentation such as billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations in alignment with specified timelines to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Developing crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies to help clients maintain stability and prevent deterioration of mental health.
\n
• Collaborating with clients to create effective discharge plans that promote ongoing mental health support post-therapy.
\n
• Adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies, to promote compliance and ethical standards.

• Engaging in continuous professional development through training, case consultations, and industry education to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse population, including individuals and families facing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral challenges. You will be instrumental in fostering a safe environment where clients feel empowered to address and overcome their struggles.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a similar field that meets licensing requirements.

• Current licensure as a mental health therapist in Texas, with credentials including LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in a community health setting or those who have a history of working with diverse populations will be at an advantage. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is also desirable.
