Work Environment\n

The position will primarily be remote, providing flexibility while still being part of a dynamic healthcare team. Our outpatient office serves a diverse population in Tucson, promoting an inclusive approach to care. The typical work week runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, along with occasional evening shifts as required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, evaluating the interplay between patients' mental and physical health conditions to inform treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both psychological and medical needs, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methods tailored to each patient's unique situations, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, enhancing therapeutic effectiveness and improving patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for mental health emergencies, deploying immediate strategies to ensure safety and stability for patients.

• Educate patients and their families about the relationship between mental and physical health, empowering them to manage their conditions actively.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Actively participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning to foster improved collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on patients experiencing co-occurring mental health and medical challenges. This includes individuals dealing with chronic conditions such as autoimmune disorders, significant medical illnesses, and substance use disorders. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering tailored therapeutic interventions that address the complex needs of these populations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Arizona as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Strong experience addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within an integrated care setting is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
