Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, which is designed to offer a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Our team of specialists collaborates closely to provide comprehensive care, allowing for seamless communication and continuity of treatment. You will typically work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent structure to your practice schedule. As patient volumes have increased dramatically, we are urgently hiring to expand our capacity to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility and enhancing physical function.
• Administer various therapeutic methods and interventions, focusing on improving range of motion, strength, and endurance while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's rehabilitation goals and lifestyle needs.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, allowing for adequate attention and care during each therapy session.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, utilizing orthopedic specialties and manual therapy techniques to foster recovery and promote self-management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress consistently and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatment services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse clientele ranges from active athletes aiming to return to peak performance to older adults seeking to regain independence in daily activities. Our focus on rehabilitation extends to patients of all ages, promoting strength, flexibility, and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current, active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No record of disciplinary actions related to the practice of physical therapy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise program design, and patient education.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, as it equips you with specific skills needed to meet our patients' unique demands.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly platforms like WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
