The work setting for this role is primarily remote, offering the flexibility to balance work and personal responsibilities while maintaining a structured schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand the unique trauma histories of patients, guiding the design of customized treatment plans.

• Developing individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience building, and the overall mental well-being of clients.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address diverse trauma-related issues.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that aid clients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to provide holistic care aimed at the comprehensive improvement of clients’ mental health.

• Responding to crisis situations by providing immediate intervention and support to individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating clients and their families about understanding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower their healing journey.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation that meets all ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.

• Participating in collaborative case consultations and regular team meetings to enhance treatment approaches and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily consists of trauma survivors grappling with conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your work will directly contribute to their emotional healing and overall mental health improvement.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma settings.
\n
• Deep knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a strong background in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a sound ability to communicate in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage high-stress situations with resilience and professionalism.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficiency in relevant therapeutic software.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
