Active Balance Physical Therapy is actively seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our outpatient clinic located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Work Environment

The position will be housed in our modern outpatient office located in the picturesque Deerfield Beach area, known for its vibrant community and beach culture. You will work onsite Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modality applications to facilitate recovery and improve musculoskeletal function.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient responses.
• Educate patients and their families about home exercise programs, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications to ensure continuity of care and optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to provide holistic care tailored to the needs of each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population you will work with consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical recovery. Our practice also welcomes geriatric patients looking to maintain mobility and quality of life. Each patient interaction will provide an opportunity to create significant, positive changes in their functional abilities and overall health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• An active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in orthopedic settings is essential.
• Strong foundational skills in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise prescription.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in specific areas such as trigger point therapy, sports rehabilitation, and geriatric physical therapy strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in using rehabilitation technology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems to track patient progress and outcomes.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in workshops and relevant continuing education.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and educational background. Additional benefits include:
