This role is designed to function within an outpatient setting, primarily through a remote setup, allowing for flexibility and responsiveness to patient needs. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as required. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the unique needs of each child or adolescent.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that are tailored to address the developmental stages and family contexts of young patients.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities that resonate with the diverse needs of our patient population.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated, comprehensive approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies to stabilize and support our patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, fostering understanding and engagement.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring integrity in all records.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is essential for this position.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatments, and therapeutic modalities.

• Proven experience in providing individual and family therapy to youth is required, along with a genuine passion for working with children.

Compensation and Benefits\n
