Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical intakes and psychotherapy sessions, ensuring a thorough understanding of each client's history and treatment goals.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation on a daily basis, adhering to state licensing requirements for effective practice.
• Participate in quarterly team staff meetings to stay aligned with organizational goals and share insights with colleagues.
• Engage in weekly supervision and collaborative discussions to enhance your counseling techniques and professional development.
• Communicate efficiently with support staff for seamless business operations, allowing you to devote your time to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with a diverse client base aged 9 through adulthood, focusing on mental health treatment that employs therapeutic and preventative techniques. As a counselor at Dayspring, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, providing tailored support that reflects their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree from an accredited program in a counseling-related field such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW in Washington State.
• Professional Liability Insurance coverage is a requirement to maintain adequate protection while practicing.

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in mental health treatment, particularly with adolescents and adults.
• A strong background in various therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Experience navigating community mental health systems, and familiarity with administrative workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, depending on your licensing type and client caseload.
