Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a clear understanding of the client's mental health status.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, preferences, and goals, utilizing a client-centered approach.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage and improve their mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their journey towards better mental health.

• Monitor clients' progress throughout the treatment continuum, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure continued improvement.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's health are addressed.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and enhance treatment practices.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mood disorders within the community.

This role primarily focuses on clients grappling with mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and perspectives, enriching your experience as a therapist. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.

• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT and DBT, with the ability to implement these practices effectively during therapy sessions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working with mood disorders or related mental health conditions is highly desirable.
