Capital Restaurant Resources is partnering with a respected Washington, DC restaurant group to identify a talented and motivated Executive Sous Chef for one of its fine dining concepts.

We're looking for a chef who genuinely loves cooking, takes pride in the details, and is excited about the opportunity to develop alongside a strong culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef ready to take on greater responsibility or an established Executive Sous Chef looking for a kitchen where their ideas, leadership, and culinary abilities will be valued.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in classical cooking techniques, experience in quality-driven restaurants, and the ability to balance creativity with the organization and discipline required to execute consistently at a high level.

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for cooking, ingredients, technique, and thoughtful food presentation.

• Experience in respected fine dining or chef-driven restaurants.

• Strong hands-on cooking skills and the ability to lead by example during service.

• A collaborative leadership style with an interest in teaching, mentoring, and developing younger cooks.

• An understanding of kitchen operations, including ordering, inventory, food costs, scheduling, and labor management.

• The ability to maintain high standards while working in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

• Creativity, curiosity, and a desire to continue learning and growing professionally.
