Work Environment

As part of our rehabilitation team, you will work alongside certified professionals in various specialties, utilizing advanced resources and tools to facilitate patient recovery. Your role will take place primarily at our onsite facility, but you may also have the opportunity to conduct home visits, allowing you to extend your therapeutic impact in a familiar setting for your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises, all grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers by providing essential knowledge and training related to their conditions and treatment strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with patients to help them exceed their functional goals through motivation and support.
• Collaborate with other health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall care coordination and effectiveness.
• Meet and strive to exceed organizational objectives related to patient utilization and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Envisage, you will encounter a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric conditions, and sports-related issues. This variety allows you to apply your skills and knowledge across multiple specialties, enhancing both patient care and your professional development.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, attested by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and foster connections with patients.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer applications.

Preferred Experience
