Ace Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team in Boca Grande, Florida. This full-time, onsite role focuses on helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions.

Work Environment

This role will take place in our spacious rehabilitation center located in the serene locale of Boca Grande, Florida, known for its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere. Working alongside two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, you will operate in a collaborative environment that values communication and teamwork. Our weekly work schedule is structured for Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring a consistent professional rhythm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to effectively identify objectives, needs, and potential treatment pathways.
• Manage individual patient sessions, treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans targeting improvements in mobility and functionality.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to reduce pain, enhance movement, and limit reliance on medications.
• Document patient interactions and treatments meticulously, ensuring up-to-date and precise patient records.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying care plans in response to treatment outcomes and patient feedback.
• Work in coordination with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care solutions.
• Foster a motivating and encouraging environment that inspires patients to engage in their rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working primarily with patients who have private medical insurance, focusing on those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will aid patients of varying ages in overcoming challenges and restoring functional mobility, maximizing their ability to perform daily activities.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid Florida Physical Therapist license and maintain a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Exhibit strong competencies in manual therapy and exercise science with a focus on orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing WebPT EMR Software for patient documentation and management.
• Display excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience working as a physical therapist specifically within orthopedic outpatient settings, with hands-on case management skills.
• Familiarity with developing individualized fitness and wellness plans tailored to the diverse needs of patients.
• Expertise in treating athletes or active individuals recovering from sports-related injuries would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for the Orthopedic Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
