Work Environment

As an onsite therapist at our Rehabilitation Center, you will work in state-of-the-art facilities that promote patient well-being and recovery. Your typical workweek will consist of 40 hours, with potential variability during weekends to accommodate patient needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing integrated care, fostering an environment where teamwork and support are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic issues, assessing movement patterns, strength, flexibility, and overall functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices, mobility goals, and individual patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, exercises, and self-management strategies for recovery and prevention of future injuries.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress, adapting treatment plans and documentation according to the latest clinical standards.
• Engage in proactive communication with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss patient care and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and outcomes in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring respectful and culturally responsive interactions with all patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist will involve working with a diverse patient population ranging from athletes recovering from injuries to elderly patients managing chronic pain. You will be instrumental in helping patients regain independence and functional mobility through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing physical therapy in an orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure safety in emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and innovative rehabilitation technologies.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in physical therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits
